Hi! I'm Berry :)
Creativity and crafting have always been a big part of my life. With great passion, I constantly develop new products because I love being creative and trying out new things. At the same time, it's important for me to continuously improve my shop – who knows, maybe one day it will even become a full-time job!
Why “Berrytale”?
When choosing a name, I drew inspiration from my nickname "Berry." This led to the creation of "Berrytale" – a playful twist on "Fairytale," where "Fairy" is replaced by "Berry." In this fairy tale, there is always a happy ending, usually after a battle against the evil that symbolizes my doubts. Fairy tales speak of friendship, tolerance, helpfulness, and what truly matters. These are the values I want to share with all of you through my shop! :)
My path to independence
After deciding to start a small business during my studies, I invested several hundred euros in materials, and creating jewelry became a true passion of mine! However, I was unaware of the bureaucratic challenges involved, from business registration to tax matters and packaging licenses. This intimidated me and caused my motivation to wane, leading me to put the idea on hold for six months.
However, as the semester progressed, my motivation began to rise again. I thought about my drive and how I could bring joy to people with small acts of appreciation. I started to immerse myself more in jewelry ideas. And so when the semester break came , I finally took the opportunity to register my business. Yet, during my research on the process and the tax-related information, new doubts arose. Fortunately, I had a good friend by my side who had recently started her own small business as well (sevenscars.de). Step by step, I began designing a new logo, thank-you cards, and more – it was all so exciting!
Now, here I am, two years later, sitting at my laptop and writing this text. Two and a half years ago, I would have never thought I would make it this far and that my products would be so well-received! The positive feedback and messages show me that what I'm doing is right and brings me immense joy.
